Seek Godly Mentors

Read the Scriptures, wisdom finds its voice,

Seek solace and guidance, in prayer, rejoice.

Through these sacred words, faith does grow,

A journey of love and devotion, seeds to sow.

Alongside the Scriptures, God’s gift to embrace,

He sends souls of light, shining with heavenly grace.

They inspire holiness, through their words and deeds,

Guiding me to serve God, fulfilling my soul’s needs.

Who are these beacons, who ignite an inner fire?

Not idols or worshipped, but mentors to inspire.

With faith that stretches, reaching higher and deep,

They help battle the darkness, the doubts we may keep.

With grace and forgiveness, they light up the way,

Showing the joy that follows, as shadows give way.

Mentors, not know-it-alls, but vessels of the divine,

In this fallen world, their spirits truly shine.

A Godly mentor, someone to lead,

Their wisdom and example, a guide in need.

Imperfect as we are, stumbling along the way,

Trust God, and seek His grace each day.

We all crave forgiveness, the balm for our souls,

The more I seek God the more His grace enfolds.

I pray for a mentor, a beacon so bright,

Reflecting Christ’s love, showing God’s light.

The challenge is daunting, to follow Christ’s call,

To be a vessel of Godliness, inspiring one and all.

I know my imperfections and the path I may stray,

In God’s boundless love, I’ll find strength each day.

Let us strive together, in this journey we embark,

As mentors and learners, leaving no room for the dark.

Following Christ’s footsteps, our guiding compass is true,

For in His love and grace, each day we become like new.
