Life is unfair

Fairness falters,

good and bad alters,

Life appears askew,

A near-sighted human view.

The just are dealt unjust hands,

Truth’s light is dimmed. Shifting sands,

Bad deeds are adored and acclaimed,

While honesty and honor are shamed.

Why do the virtuous suffer so?

Injustice thrives, we ask in woe,

Lies take root, their poison spread,

While innocence bears pain instead.

lift your gaze beyond this plane,

Where worldly limits lose their reign,

A spiritual realm awaits our sight,

Where God’s presence shines bright.

With eyes of faith, we can perceive,

Beyond the trials that make us grieve,

A kingdom where God’s truth holds sway,

Where injustice will one day decay.

In His hands, time and judgment rest,

In ways beyond our human quest,

From nothingness, creation’s birth,

And from our trials, lessons worth,

Wisdom He grants to those who seek,

Eternal hope, our weary fears retreat,

Perfection’s pledge, His gift of grace,

As we journey through life’s endless space.

Yes, this view demands a heart reborn,

From worldly chains and norms forlorn,

The Spirit’s dwelling, a guiding flame,

As we embrace the call of Jesus’ name.

So leave the world’s illusions behind,

A higher purpose you will find,

For in the view of faith’s embrace,

Resides a haven of boundless grace.
