My Christian Friend

In the company of a friend, a kind soul I find,
Yet sometimes her path meanders, her thoughts unaligned,
Some days in tune with God her faith shines bright and true,
But other days, she struggles as shadows cloud her view.

Our eyes met, and I yearned to speak, to offer words of care,
Deep within, I knew God’s voice would reach her in prayer,
So I chose to lift my prayers, to let His love embrace.
His words heal, at the right time and in the place.

Together, we knelt and bowed our heads, seeking God above,
His wisdom and His guidance, an endless well of love,
And in that sacred moment, we shared a silent sign,
A knowing wink that said it all, His light to intertwine.

Walking away from that mirror, a lesson to interlace.
For in our journey as believers, perfection hough we chase,
We stumble and we falter, as a work in progress true,
Yet thankful for God’s boundless grace, His love forever new.

Each day we strive, and each day we err, but through it all, we learn,
To trust in God’s unending love, and His promises we yearn,
So let us walk together, in faith and hope we soar,
Embracing God’s amazing grace, forever and evermore.
