To the skeptic

Conflict, perspectives collide, debates arise,
With differing eyes, and beliefs that can’t coincide.
You don’t believe in God? Fine, no judgment from me,
For I am not the judge, My heart is set free.

Why mock those who believe, If we’re wrong, what’s lost
Why mock those who have faith, we owe no cost.
Our faith brings comfort, and our hearts are filled with light.
How does it harm you, skeptic, Nothing in our sight.

Do you deem me foolish, gullible, or blind?
Let your perception be narrow, if you’re inclined.
But pray, tell me, how does my belief affect your way?
In this vast complexity of life, we each have our say.

I choose to embrace a life of faith and hope,
Serving God, finding purpose, on this earthly slope.
And if, in the end, my belief proves to be true,
I’ll rejoice, knowing I pursued what I knew

Remember, in God, you lose nothing when debates arise,
Truth is seen through open hearts and wise eyes.
He’s coming back, the promise we hold dear,
The greatest man in history, casting away fear.

For I’d rather live with the possibility of grace,
Then deny it completely, letting it go to waste.
No shame in my game, no regrets to bear,
I believe in Jesus Christ, His love and care.
