I have absolutely nothing to say to you,
absolutely nothing to say.
I don’t know what to say or do.
I have absolutely nothing to say.
So I guess I won’t say anything at all.
Nothing at all and let it be done.
So long,
Goodbye,
Someday I’ll miss you.
At least we’ve had some fun.
One day, as Sarah wandered through the fields, feeling lost and defeated, she stumbled upon a wounded rabbit. Its leg was mangled, and it struggled to move. Sarah’s heart broke as she knelt down beside it, cradling the small creature in her arms. She whispered words of comfort, promising to help it heal.
With renewed determination, Sarah rushed home, seeking her parents’ support in saving the injured rabbit. But as she entered the house, she overheard a conversation between her parents, filled with dismissive remarks about her. When Sarah returned outside to check on the rabbit she found it dead.
Devastated, Sarah realized that she couldn’t rely on her parents for the understanding and support she desperately sought. The weight of her loneliness and the constant battles had become overwhelming.
In her darkest moment, Sarah made a heart-wrenching decision. She couldn’t bear the pain and isolation any longer. Sarah had reached a breaking point. The weight of her struggles and the feeling of being misunderstood had become too much for her young heart to bear. Determined to escape the pain, she made up her mind to run away from home.
With a heavy heart and a small bag slung over her shoulder, Sarah quietly slipped out of her house and onto the darkened street. The night enveloped her like a shroud as she took hesitant steps away from everything she had ever known.
But as she walked further down the street, something caught her eye. A warm glow emanated from a neighboring house, a house where a kind-hearted man named David lived. Sarah had often shared her poetry with him. He had always given her support and advice and shared his poetry with her as well. He seemed to be the only true friend she had ever had.
Drawn to the light and seeking solace, Sarah hesitated for a moment before gathering her courage and walking up to David’s front door. She took a deep breath and knocked, her small fist making a timid sound against the wood.
Seconds ticked by, and Sarah’s heart pounded in her chest. Finally, the door opened, revealing David’s kind face. Sarah noticed that his eyes were more red than usual and his face appeared etched with grief. His eyes widened in surprise as he saw the young girl standing before him, tears streaming down her face.
“S-Sarah?” David stammered, recognizing her in the dim light. “What brings you here at this hour?”
Sarah’s voice trembled as she choked back her sobs. “I… I was running away,” she managed to say, her words barely audible.
David’s heart sank at the revelation. He knew all too well the pain of loss and the struggles that life could bring. Without hesitation, he opened his arms and embraced Sarah, offering her a comforting presence.
They sat down together in David’s living room, surrounded by memories of his late wife. He listened attentively as Sarah poured out her troubles, her fears, and her overwhelming sense of loneliness. David, with a gentle voice and understanding eyes, assured her that she was not alone.
“Sarah, I can’t imagine what you’re going through, but I do know what it feels like to face difficult times,” David said softly. “Running away may seem like an escape, but it won’t solve your problems. It’s important to face them head-on and find support from those who care about you.”
Sarah’s tears continued to flow, but she felt a glimmer of hope ignite within her. David’s words resonated deep within her wounded soul, reminding her that there were people who cared, even if they weren’t within her own family.
“You’re right,” Sarah whispered, wiping away her tears. “I shouldn’t run away. I should go back home and face my struggles, but maybe I can find strength in knowing that there are people like you who understand.”
David smiled warmly, his kindness shining through. “You are stronger than you realize, Sarah. You have so much potential within you. Remember, running away may seem like the only solution, but true courage lies in facing our problems head-on.”
With David’s comforting words ringing in her ears, Sarah gathered her belongings and prepared to return home. Although the journey ahead would not be easy, she knew that she now had a friend, someone who understood her pain and would be there to offer support when she needed it most.
As Sarah walked back to her house, the weight of her struggles felt a little lighter. She had found solace in the most unexpected place, and with David’s guidance, she was determined to navigate the challenges that awaited her.
