Homeless Working Parents

Below are pictures of just some of the hotels we found while traveling that had many homeless children and American families, working American families living in them.

In the shadows of the streets, they dwell,

Working American families, homeless and unwell.

Propaganda on the news, twisting reality,

Dividing our hearts, distracting our morality.

In the depths of silence, a tale untold,

Homeless American families, their struggle unfolds.

In hotels, they reside, shadows of despair,

While the media’s deception fills the air.

Neglected by headlines, their stories denied,

As propaganda dances, truth, cast aside.

Divisions of race, sex, and politics sway,

While the homeless suffer, day after day.

The media’s smokescreen blinds our eyes,

Concealing the anguish, the desperate cries.

Distracted by chaos, they tighten their hold,

Leaving Americans trapped, their spirits sold.

They say, “You hate me, and I hate you.”

But deep down, love’s flame still burns true.

We’re silenced by fear, kept apart,

What secrets do they hide within their art?

But let us break free from this web of deceit,

Expose the injustice, make their falsehoods retreat.

For in these hotels, lives are being torn,

Dreams shattered, innocence mourned.

American families, once full of hope,

Now navigate hardship, struggling to cope.

Poverty’s grip, an unyielding vice,

Yet the media thrives on spreading lies.

It’s not about race, nor the color of our face,

It’s poverty’s grip that leaves no trace.

Gone is the middle class, prosperity’s song,

Stripped away by forces cruel and strong.

No longer can we succumb to their game,

Rise above division, injustice to reclaim.

Unite in compassion, extend a helping hand,

Together we’ll heal, a united stand.

Children play in parking lots, their innocence fades,

In hotels where their parents are unjustly swayed.

American parents, toiling day and night,

But their wages can’t conquer the soaring height.

Once they had homes, a place to call their own,

Now a one-room refuge, stripped to the bone.

In industrial parks with truck drivers near,

Drug needles scattered, a constant fear.

Yet no one knows, no one truly sees,

The web of deception, woven with ease.

Propaganda on TV, a screen of disguise,

Blurring our vision, concealing their lies.

Let the truth be known, let empathy guide,

The homeless in hotels, no longer denied.

For every soul deserves a place to dwell,

A refuge of solace, where love can swell.

Awaken, dear people, and open your eyes,

It’s not about you and me, but their wicked guise.

The power we granted, they wield with disdain,

To keep us divided, shackled in pain.

It’s time to awaken, to see through the haze,

To challenge the media’s deceptive maze.

For in our unity, we’ll find strength anew,

To uplift the homeless, their hopes we’ll renew.

They want us poor, afraid, and at war,

So we don’t unite, our voices ignored.

Distracted by entertainment, they lead us astray,

While hunger gnaws, we struggle day by day.

But if we realize, if we truly know,

We’ll see the other side, where poverty grows.

In white, brown, black, and yellow, it’s found,

Every color, every belief, poverty’s profound.

The propaganda’s whispers try to deceive,

But united we stand, we can surely achieve.

To break the chains, our spirits rise,

Together we’ll shatter the veils of disguise.

So let us rise, dispel the illusions they sow,

Advocate for justice, let compassion grow.

Together we’ll rewrite the narrative’s rhyme,

bring hope to homeless families, one heart at a time.

For in our unity, the truth shall unfurl,

No longer confined, we’ll reclaim our world.

Working American families, homeless no more,

In solidarity, freedom will finally soar.
