M.A.G.A- A Dirty American Word

To diminish the phrase, “Make America Great Again,”
Is to undermine the spirit we should sustain.
It’s not about clinging to some distant past,
But striving for progress that will forever last.
Are critics even thinking, beyond the surface’s gleam?
Or are they blinded by their own partisan scheme?

It calls for reflection, a collective strive,
To address the issues that still deprive,
The greatness that America has within,
Embracing all voices, to let freedom win.
It’s a call for unity, for progress and hope,
To bridge the divides, and help America cope.

It’s a call to build bridges, not walls that divide,
To embrace diversity, and let freedom abide.
So let’s not dismiss with casual disdain,
The vision encapsulated within that refrain.
For “Make America Great Again” can be,
A call for unity, progress, and unity.

Let’s seek understanding, engage in debate,
With open hearts, before it’s too late.
To make America great is a shared aspiration,
To strengthen its core, through collaboration.
It’s not about exclusion, nor turning back time,
But rather growth and inclusivity, in its prime.

America’s greatness lies in its diverse tapestry,
In the ideals of liberty and opportunity.
So ponder deeply, before you cast your word,
Recognize the power, in the phrases we’ve heard.
May we come together, in this diverse land,
To make America great, hand in hand.

To disparage the phrase, without understanding its aim,
Is to disregard the potential for positive change.
So let’s engage in discourse, with open hearts and minds,
Seeking understanding, where common ground we find.
For when we truly listen and bridge the divide,
We can build a greater America, with dignity and pride.
