Dear one, please don’t despair,
There is one who sees your light,
love and care are always near,
Don’t let fear and doubt take flight,
You’re not alone, in this grand affair,
you are loved beyond your sight.
Even when nobody seems to care.
Loved by God who makes you whole.
Your worth is not defined
by your intelligence or worldly gains
neither by who praises you nor who’s kind.
It’s not defined by your joys or pains
Hold on to hope and keep in mind
Who’ll stand by you, even when it rains.
That you are precious, one of a kind.
In God holey, you are whole.
So hold your head up high and know,
that even in death, life can begin
fires go out when cold winds blow,
but God’s spirit can touch deeply within,
Love and care will always flow,
to rekindle the flame when it starts to dim.
And nobody can stop that glow.
When you’re holy in God your whole.
