Speak the Truth

My goal, unwavering, to speak only the truth,
For in Scripture’s pages, I find counsel divine,
To let God’s Word shine, unclouded by my own view.

Confident, I am, that His truth will endure,
God’s promises, certain, will stand the test of time.
While human ideas and sinful lies will obscure.

Those who dismiss His wisdom, oh, how they miss,
Nations rise and fall, with their flawed schemes,
The damage their ideas cause, a long-lasting abyss.

In God’s boundless love, He offers the way,
God’s Word, everlasting, forever redeems.
His Son, Jesus, the truth, the life’s true ray.

Salvation beckons, a pathway to embrace,
If we love the Father, we’ll embrace the Son.
Escape from this world, into His divine embrace.

Man-made notions, riddled with sin’s decay,
those who love their sin, His truth will shun.
God’s kingdom, forgiveness, and righteousness display.

Obeying His truth, our hearts open wide,
Love is not merely a feeling for God alone,
In pursuit of righteousness, we’ll faithfully abide.

So let us not be swayed by the world’s allure,
But an acceptance of Jesus, to His Word we’re prone.
And anchor our souls in God’s Word so pure.
