Child trafficking

Impulsive steps
led astray,
the embrace of bitter cold,
Yearning
cruel world.
a stranger’s door,
little did I know,
darkness lurked.
In the shadows
Child trafficking
a story lost in silence,
victims rarely confide.
A haunting truth,
harsh and cold,
lost, forlorn,
Aching heart,
desperate, worn.
Child trafficking,
sinister scheme,
A neighbor down the street,
hiding in plain sight,
Innocence shattered,
A teenager escaping shadows,
seeking something true,
yearning.
Seeking solace,
a world too cold to understand
A stranger’s dwelling,
a flicker of hope,
Praying,
Fate’s cruel hand,
a twisted jest,
darkness awaited
Running from bad to worse,
heart pounding,
caught in a dangerous place,
captive,
shrouded from sight,
deceit lurked
gripping fear
scared,
vulnerable,
trapped
A pawn in the game,
a future held fast.
web of lies,
Impulsive steps,
driven by despair,
web of darkness,
an unimaginable cost.
Lost in the abyss of despair,
Fortune smiled
fateful day,
A glimmer of courage
break away,
Escape.
Choosing freedom,
the plight of the innocent,
Fight against the darkness,
Together,
shine a light
Expose the shadows,
No more stolen childhoods,
no more unseen pain,
every child deserves freedom
a chance.
