Let fear and frustration fade away,
Let love’s fire light my way,
In prayer, with God, I’ll stay,
and read my bible every day.
As I envision a bird, pure and bright,
Rescuing me from the darkest night,
I pray for strength in this ongoing fight,
So the Lord’s work may continue in its flight.
With gratitude, I extend my hand,
In prayer, I envision a flock of birds grand,
Surrounded by Love amongst them I stand,
Growing stronger in faith, now I understand.
Like a flock of birds, radiant in pure light,
God rescues us from the dark of night,
We pray for strength, in unity is might
The Lord’s work soars, to an even greater height.
With gratitude, let’s all join and stand,
In prayer and praise, hand in hand,
worshiping together as God planned
In collective faith, we’ll firmly withstand
The fear and frustration, as the world drifts away,
But we have the fire of the spirit to lead our way,
In worship, hand in hand, we’ll kneel and pray,
For our church, we’ll toil, come what may.
