The Cardician: Introduction

In dreams of eternity, before I was me, in a world before my birth,
A sense of wonder washed over me, as I beheld the earth.
A master magician, her presence so grand, by a door, I did espy,
By a mysterious door, in a wondrous land, ‘neath the boundless sky.
A puzzling presence I pondered this sight, so odd and unique,
Just a door, then a building appeared, she beckoned, in mystique.
A master magician, not just an illusionist, she made it clear,
she beckoned me within, and with a sly, knowing grin, she drew me near.
I thought of a parlor, it appeared. Into the parlor, I ventured, intrigued,
“I am your Cardician” Her words held a promise, a secret I believed.
I anticipated a room filled with a crowd, a scene beyond compare.
But it was just her and me, her endowed, with parlor tricks, rare,
Though no audience gathered, a performance began to unfold,
A show of mysteries, She invited, “Unveil your life’s plan, be bold!”
A choice to make, “Pick a card, any card,” she said with a flair,
A role to play, “I’ll reveal its identity if you dare to share.”
I reached for a card, with trepidation and grace, before I was me,
A moment suspended, in that timeless space. as far as the eye could see.
I dreamt of eternity, as she gazed deep within, as if reading my soul,
A sense of wonder, unraveling secrets, her mastery took its toll.
I picked a card, any card, and with a flourish, she whispered, “Now it’s your cue,
In this moment, Decide who you’ll be, let your dreams come true.”
A dreamer and a magician, in magic’s embrace, I found a start,
In a world of illusion, A journey of self, a card, a kindled heart.
For the magician, you see, held a truth so profound, in that mystical place,
In the cards that she played, my destiny was unbound. What was the card’s face?
Allow me to deal you the cards, as the Cardician taught me, none shall I hide,
For the joy of entertainment, you shall see, pick one, and you decide.
