The Ones Astray

In our trespasses, we once were dead,

But Jesus’ grace, our sins have shed,

His Holy Spirit, a gift divine,

Brings true life to those who in Him recline.

To reject His love, a choice some make,

A dreadful path, a choice at stake,

For on that day, regret shall bind,

For those who lived on earth, God’s love declined.

But pity not, the ones astray,

The fake church-goers on their way,

Let God’s love shine through your heart,

A chance remains a fresh start.

Be a vessel, let His love shine bright,

Bringing Jesus into their darkest night,

Walk in the Spirit, don’t give in to strife,

For in His saving grace, we find true life.

In realms of life, where spirits thrive,

God’s grace, in us, brings the dead alive.

In trespasses and sins, we did abide,

Till Jesus’ love, our souls did guide.

His Holy Spirit, a gift so divine,

Bestows on believers a life’s design.

For those who reject love’s tender plea,

In the future’s regret, they’ll surely see.

A day of reckoning, dark and dread,

Awaits those who from God’s path have fled,

Apart from love, they chose to dwell,

In the earthly realm, where shadows swell.

But pity not, for now, is the hour,

To shower love, like a gentle shower,

Upon the lost, the church-goers feigned,

Let God’s compassion, in hearts be ingrained.

As vessels of grace, in the Master’s hand,

Bring Jesus into each life’s strand,

Walk in the Spirit, do not succumb,

To the flesh’s pull, let love overcome.

For in His salvation, we find our reprieve,

In the arms of Jesus, our souls, He’ll retrieve,

So, heed the call, let compassion engrave,

The path to redemption, for Jesus saves!
