A Poem of Purpose in Opposition to Form

“I seek to be whole,”
a lost soul did say,
As they lay
on the ground one fateful day.

In a rusty, dusty world so wide,
on the cold ground,
feeling fried,
seeking to be whole,
the lost soul
spun around,
this lonely lost soul,
in prayer, it cried.

In the midst of despair,
a dialogue ensued,
“I’ll restore your heart,
fear not the ride,”
replied a comforting part
from inside.
The Holy Spirit with care,
no longer subdued.

“You shall be restored,
ready to shine so bright,
No longer ignored,
in the world’s shifting light.

In your quirks and kinks,
a new function you’ll find,
In God’s design,
your true purpose,
no need to hide.”

Ready to shine,
and not be ignored, restored!
God’s design,
a new purpose explored, adored!

God’s true plan, is useful and bold,
With a fresh understanding,
this someone felt whole.

Ready to shine, with a newly inspired soul,
With a fresh understanding, they did embrace,
no longer lost, a purpose, no longer denied.
They rose from the dust with a renewed role,
A newfound purpose in this vast, open space.
In this vast expanse, where dreams reside.

For in imperfections, a beauty is found,
A symphony of life’s quirks, a harmonious sound,
In the rusty, dusty world, with a spirit restored.

Journey ahead with courage and grace
Your purpose spread in God’s grand design,
Made whole, a lost soul no more.
With a newly lit soul, ready to shine.

“I feel whole,” they exclaimed with newfound delight,
“Ready to shine, inspired by God’s spirit so bright.”

The End.
