I open The Bible.

In battles fierce and victories sweet,

I want to know what God has for me personally.

In struggles endured and with goals to meet.

I search and pause, and I reflect,

Each day, I open The Bible.

In its light, my soul I inspect,

With my open Bible, I’m not in a hurry.

I open The Bible, In age and youth,

I consider myself in its glorious light.

With patient eyes, I seek its truth,

Blessings shower from pages divine,

I am honest and transparent.

Every day, I read The Bible.

In The Scriptures’ truth, I find my sign,

It corrects my steps when I’m astray,

When I read, I am reminded and informed.

I am encouraged, and strengthened,

My open Bible encourages me in my chosen way.

When I read it, I am never disappointed.

Instead, with my Bible open, I am blessed.

Through trials and joys, I’ll always say,

the Scriptures continue to grow my faith

As daily, I open, as daily, I read the Bible,

Jesus saves, each and every day.
