In the beginning, from God’s own hand,
Flows the River of Life, a divine command.
The current of the Spirit, a sacred stream,
Sustains creation with a heavenly gleam.
Through us, it courses, a force divine,
A living water, in our hearts it shines.
The river of life, where our thirst is stilled,
In Christ’s embrace, our souls are filled.
Praise we now our God, for the goodness He imparts,
His love is a river that flows into our hearts.
Washing over us, cleansing every sin,
In the river of His love, new life begins.
Abundant life, everlasting and true,
Flows through His children, and we renew.
His Word, crystal clear, like refreshing waters,
through Grace, spiritual sons and daughters
To God be the glory, our hearts proclaimed,
Bathing in His grace, we’re forever changed.
Jesus saves, a triumphant cry, free of strife,
In the river of His love, we find eternal life.
