Loneliness, a weight so heavy,
Dragging down heart and soul.
A feeling that’s hard to shake,
no one to make you whole.
The silence, deafening and cold,
When no one’s there to lend an ear.
No one to listen to your thoughts unfold,
No one to calm your inner fears.
Loneliness, a cloud of darkness,
Trailing wherever you may tread.
Obscuring the light, casting shadows,
Filling your heart with sorrow, and dread.
Yet, remember, you’re complete,
No other’s presence defines your worth.
In God’s spirit, find strength and peace,
For God alone can bring rebirth.
In solitude, seek solace in God’s embrace,
He is ever present, always near.
When loneliness engulfs your space,
Find His love, His voice to hear.
In the embrace of God’s abiding love,
Find solace, find strength, find peace.
Jesus, the way, the truth, the light,
His presence brings your burden’s release.
So, in the depths of that heavy weight,
When loneliness threatens to take its toll,
Know that God is there beside you,
Bringing comfort to your weary soul.
