It’s Christmas time, time for shopping,
shopping for Christmas toys,
toys for all the little girls and boys.
All the girls want dollies,
dollies that blink their eyes,
blink their eyes and talk a lot,
a lot is what they want.
It’s Christmas time, time for shopping,
shopping for Christmas toys,
toys for all the little girls and boys.
Look there’s Patty, Patty and her daddy,
“Daddy I want, I want a pink and blue hat.”
Look there’s Tommy, Tommy and his Mommy
“Mommy I want, I want a baseball bat.”
It’s Christmas time, time for shopping,
shopping for Christmas toys,
toys for all the little girls and boys.
Look there’s baby Jesus, Jesus in a cradle,
A cradle in a manger, a manger of hay.
His is the true gift, the gift of our Savior,
Our savior, who was born this Christmas day.
It’s Christmas time, time for stopping,
stopping for a Christmas prayer,
A prayer for all God’s children,
Children everywhere.
It’s Christmas time, time for stopping,
stopping for a Christmas prayer,
A prayer for all God’s children,
Children everywhere.
