New Years Resolution (early to mid 30’s)

The past is gone, it’s time to move on,
Let’s not dwell on what’s already done.
Our love may have faded, but it’s not dead,
Let’s work together to revive what we once had.
The new year is here with its endless possibilities,
No more tears or regrets, just hope and positivity,
Let’s embrace the future with open hearts and minds.
Let’s leave the past and our troubles behind.
We can start anew, build a brighter tomorrow,
A new year with joys to replace yesteryear’s sorrow.
Rekindle the love that we once shared.
Remind each other of the spark, why we cared.
We may face challenges, but we’ll face them together,
Tomorrow can be the first day of forever.
With patience, we will mend what was shattered
With understanding, we’ll repair what’s been tattered.
The new year’s calling, let’s answer its plea,
To let go of the past and to set our love free.
With each passing day, let’s make it stronger,
Until our days of happy memories grow longer and longer.
let our love guide us through life’s wonder.
Let it make us stronger that which once tore us asunder.
No more blue eyes crying, no more gold tears falling,
We’ll celebrate our love, without hesitation or stalling.
With a new year comes new hope, new love, new life,
Let’s cherish what we have, as husband and wife.
