In Maine, frostbite and humor intertwine,
Mainers brave the winter, sippin’ Moxie like fine wine.
In the land of lobsters and endless pines,
hearty Mainers, tough as old grapevines.
With humor dry, they weather cold’s cruel blow,
Cabin fever strikes, yet they won’t let it show.
Cabin fever, is truly a cruel, scary word,
Which is why many dream of being a sun-bird
They brave the winter’s biting snow,
With Moxie, as their courage ever grows.
Oh, to fly south when up here the sun goes down
before kids get home from school, in the north town.
To the south, they dream of sun and sand,
But Mainers stay, with Moxie in hand.
Like frost on a Mason jar, they’re tough and true,
Amidst the snow, they find warmth in all they do.
So, if you visit, don’t think them insane,
it’s a quirky, lovable, Maineiac train!
