Autism does not define a child’s worth,
In hearts and minds, resilience takes birth.
We are Autistic, not a divergence, but a part,
A complexity of minds, each with a unique heart.
Not a measure of worth, not a rank below or above,
In unity, we find strength, compassion, and love.
To say we are disabled feels like a divide,
with a devalued implication, and false pride beside.
We are Autistic, breaking stereotypes when we unite,
In the vast expanse of our minds, our diversity is bright.
Call us Neurodivergent, in the spectrum, we reside,
A label not limiting, but a source of Autistic pride.
Breaking down barriers, understanding we seek,
In the language of empathy, our differences we speak.
In The Language of Empathy
