Each day, I open The Bible so dear,

I look with reverence, without haste or fear.

Honest and transparent, I stand,

I yearn to grasp what God imparts to me,

To find His wisdom, His truth, His decree.

I search its pages, each word a golden thread,

Pausing in wonder, where His message is spread,

In the palm of God’s guiding hand.

I reflect upon the verses, like rays of light,

Revealing my soul in His glorious sight.

I’m honest and transparent, in His holy gaze,

For in His presence, there are no hidden ways.

Disappointment knows no dwelling place,

I’m reminded of His love, so pure and divine,

In The Bible’s sacred words, His grace does shine.

I’m informed of His purpose, His plan so vast,

And gently corrected me when I strayed from the path.

I’m encouraged to press on, no matter the test,

For in The Bible’s verses, I find peace and rest.

I’m strengthened each day by the stories it tells,

Of heroes of faith, in whom His Spirit dwells.

In The Bible, I find endless grace,

I’m never disappointed, always truly blessed,

As I delve into The Bible, I am spiritually dressed.

After all these years, its power does not wane,

The Scriptures still grow my faith, like life-giving rain.

In Its embrace, my heart feels light.

In its pages, I find solace, a love that forgives,

In The Bible’s eternal message, my Savior lives.

So, let me declare with a heart full and brave,

In The Bible’s sacred pages, Jesus Christ saves!

Through all these years, my faith has taken flight,

Each day, I’ll open it with joy in my heart,

For in The Bible’s embrace, I’ll never depart.
