Crying in the dark: age 15 with original art

You don’t understand. I don’t understand.

Our misunderstanding is mutual, and so why?

Why do we torture ourselves- pull ourselves through such agony

for understanding that is impossible?

we are killing each other with our frustration.

I am killing you and you are killing me.

Is that what we want?

Are we so stubborn and thick-headed

filled with so much pride,

that we would rather watch each other die

than find a solution to end our suffering.

Is there no hope for us?

No light at the end of the tunnel?

People say that things have got to get worse

before they can get better.

How worse can things get?

If I try to help you will you help me?

Or will you leave me stranded like so many times before?

Please help me. I can’t do it alone.

I can’t do it alone. Please.
