Against the flesh, each day, a struggle, our souls enmesh.
My evil, my wrong, yet through God’s grace, I can emerge strong.
The world on fate’s edge, unaware of judgment, a looming ledge.
A slave to righteousness profound, let the lost be found.
From the right, separate the wrong, find the threads of light.
in the throes of despair, hope still lingers in the whispered prayer.
unbound our fate, where consequences and God’s judgment await.
in their wandering plight, judge not the lost, Instead, let prayers rise in the night.
in our actions and ways, let the world see, in the darkness, Jesus saves.
For though it may seem, freedom unfettered, is an illusion, a transient dream.
Transformative is Jesus’ grace, redemption’s hand can every sin erase.
