Villaine poem: Call to Respond

Silence lingers, the echo of time, the clock on the wall.
Fear grips the hearts of many, a bittersweet memory,
A voice lingers, an echo responding to the call.

———————————————————–

Souls hide, trembling voices hushed in shadows, small.
Stand firm in open conversations, defy threats of infamy
Silence lingers, the echo of time, the clock on the wall.

———————————————————-

Speak the truth, voice bold, in consequences stand tall!
Let not our souls retreat, we may not always agree,
A voice lingers, an echo responding to the call.

—————————————————–

Challenge narrative, listen to whispers, learn, break the wall,
Our voices bold, our hearts unbound, dialog brings victory
Silence lingers, the echo of time, the clock on the wall.

——————————————————–

In unity stand, and through the strength of God we shall not fall
The narrative is fear, intent to control, reject the blasphemy
A voice lingers, an echo responding to the call.

———————————————————

Embrace difficult conversations, we must give all.
in the face of contrary views, diverse minds must remain free
Silence lingers, the echo of time, the clock on the wall.
A voice lingers, an echo responding to the call.
