UFO

Before I was me, Unidentified, in a crazy place.

Folks pointed fingers and gave me a funny face.

I tried to talk and wave my hands, but they just didn’t get it,

Deep inside, I had a secret world. I will never regret it.

Empathy, a superpower, to Fly! I felt so much, oh boy!

Joy and pain from everyone, a balloon?, an Object? a toy?

I wished they’d see the real me, to see beyond my little show,

But often, they’d just turn away, just as I began to fly, I was a UFO.

I was a bit of a puzzle, a satellite? A spaceship unmanned?

Always wanting to help yet not good at lending a hand,

yet, Who would be helping me when my fuel to fly was getting low,

To understand my quirks and ways, who would just go with the flow?

When looking for me in the sky, look through a different looking-glass,

A kaleidoscope should do the trick, find empathy and grace, another world grasp

I am an Unidentified Flying Object, see me with open minds, beyond just a trend,

When you do, you’ll discover a Unique Flying Original from beginning to end.
