The Slavery of Sin

They whispered prayers together, as Jesus led the way.
Yet in a tumultuous corner, discord ensnared,
differences profound, like slaves, they were bound away.

Hearts did clash in conflict, chaotic, hungering, even the least.
Once adorned in grace, now adorned in disdain,
Their battle masked the real threat, a trap laid by the beast.

Hunger and hatred blinded them as they fought in vain.
Jesus wept.
A warning, a presence, now gone, leaving only pain.

Bound by servitude, in shadows drawn by roaming nights,
Freedom shattered like a dream.
Echoes in the strife. Jubilant days are now gone, only fights.

In this fallen world, the devil sows only despair.
Confess the fabrications of life.
Hope resides in faith in the Creator’s tender care.

With a sigh, our fate seemed sealed,
Yet a divine revelation intervened,
In newfound truth, God’s spirit is revealed.

Remember the sacrifice, and embrace the proof.
God’s hands are drawn. Pray until a new day is born.
A glimpse of divine love, freedom in hope, share the truth!
