Make America Great

“Make America Great Again,” I hear them proclaim,

Rhetoric? No, but words can make one sway,

A call to action, a nation to reclaim.

Just a slogan, is that what some say?

“Make America Great Again,” proudly declare,

How can American pride, causes this malaise?

I pause and wonder, do they truly see,

The cause of fervor and fray?

The implications of what those words can be?

Is it just politics, truth can make opinions sway,

“Make America Great Again,” they repeat,

This phrase emerges, causing ripples in its way.

Yet, with disdain, they try to defeat.

Calling for the fall of a nation so dear,

They take their hatred to the street

Are they even thinking, I ponder in fear?

For America, a land of diverse dreams,

let’s delve deeper, and unravel what’s there.

Built on hope, in liberty America gleams,

For “Make America Great Again” carries weight,

but a shadow, is cast on the freedom it brings.

It is promise to uplift America, not a call to abate.

America has faced trials and challenges before,

Who knew that America could fall in great debate.

Now we question if in unity it will continue to soar.

Simply because some are offended by Make America Great.

Together we rise, united we stand, MAGA once more.
