America is first-world, a land of the free,
and yet a third-world reality we see.
Needle-ridden streets, a painful sight,
A consequence of policies written in the night.
Within America’s borders, a struggle is debated
Porous southern boundary Politicians created,
Allowing the flow of people, some seeking hope,
Some burdening the land with crime and dope.
Americans made homeless, by policies, pushed aside,
Radical politics created this depression, this human tide.
A failing economy, American children in shabby abodes,
Camping through summers, winter’s chill forebodes.
Working American parents are struggling to provide,
Our American children are forced in shelters to reside,
In a world where poverty taints and crime pays,
While politicians prioritize themselves in other ways.
Lost jobs, homelessness, and despair haunt many lives,
Yet immigrants, are favored through summer and as winter arrives.
Politicians speak, will American families be left out in the cold,
while their promises of change they continue to withhold.
Borders far away with our money, they seek to protect,
While our own borders remain undefended, a dangerous prospect.
A wall alone cannot solve the plight, the damage has been done.
It’s a matter beyond barriers, it seems the drug cartels have won.
For Americans, addiction, anxiety, depression’s grasp,
A nation’s spirit slipping, to survive is a daunting task.
We long for authenticity and compassion’s embrace,
falsehoods surround us, politicians’ honor, no trace.
To reclaim our American identity, we must strive,
Ignore the narrative that is designed to divide.
Faith, family, patriotism, Allowing God to guide our hand,
For our children, let America again be a meritocratic land.
Children’s’ lives, revive sanctity, hold them with care,
These values within us, purity, and innocence, we must repair.
Conviction and courage for what is right must lead the way,
To unleash the American spirit, unite! come what may.
For our children, let us refocus on truth, faith, and love,
And rise to defend their innocence, Pray we can rise above.
With the strength of unity, remember our heritage, we’ll prevail,
We must restore America for the children, we must not fail.
