By the Grace of God alone, Go I

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

Not my own strength or by earthly might,

But by a spiritual gift given by God day and night.

With a heart of faith, I rise from slumber’s embrace,

Though God’s victory’s assured, make no mistake,

My role in this war, I must not forsake.

For rest and solace, in the day and night, I find,

when I, in prayer, seek God’s guiding hand,

As I traverse this war-torn, tumultuous land.

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

Amidst the chaos, the noise, and the strife,

I strive to discern the Holy Spirit’s life.

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

In surrender, I find my greatest strength,

In God’s presence, I’ll go to any length.

unlike those who just visit, their faith incomplete,

Yes, I will stumble and fall on this battle ground,

But with God’s Grace and faith, I will rise, rebound.

As the sun ascends, I stand once more tall.

When night falls, and the day takes its leave,

I rest in Grace, in God, I believe

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

Religious attendance alone, a shallow feat.

True Christianity is a daily embrace,

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

It’s not about earning, or deeds to atone,

But a constant commitment, in faith I’ve grown.

In God’s Grace preserved, with a steadfast mind.

In this war against evil, I’ll stand tall and true,

For in Christ, my Savior, I find strength anew.

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

So remember these words, as you journey each day,

In the war between good and evil, come what may.

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

We are soldiers of faith, in this battle we share,

With the hope of redemption, in God’s loving care.

In this struggle, we may sometimes fall,

We may stumble often, our steps not sure,

But with each dawn, we find our hearts endure,

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

For in the quietude of night’s embrace,

We rest, rejuvenate, in God’s sweet grace.

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

In life’s onward battle, we all play our part,

A war unfolds, unseen, in every heart,

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

‘Tis not with swords and shields, this daily fight,

But faith and love, against the darkest night.

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

We rise each morn, with purpose firm in view,

To do God’s will, with hearts and minds anew,

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

In prayer, we seek His guidance from above,

To battle evil, with the strength of love.

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

Let the moment-by-moment of Grace be our aim,

Already won, this war, cleansed from Sin and blame,

By the Grace of God alone, Go I

For Christians are the soldiers of the light,

In this great war, we fight the good fight.
