Blossoms awakening in the spring’s alignment.
Yet, ennui lingered in her mind like a subtle mist,
Eve, in whispers, describes her birthday scene,
A celebration painted in July in hues of serene.
Yet in the crucible of summer’s scorching blaze,
The earth wilted and dried up in a sunlit daze.

An epitaph for the wilting flowers,
A eulogy for the fading hours,
As ennui spreads like dried seeds in the air.

As summer’s heat takes its toll, it knows.
Elegy echoes in the warm zephyr’s sigh,
A lament from the girls bored of the azure sky.
