Lost to courage, fear takes its hold on me,
in darkness straying, am I too lost to find?
Bound by fear the path I can’t see,
but Jesus does not leave me behind.
Unclear paths stretch before, flee, or fight?
Yet within my heart, I hear “You shall prevail.
Though storms may rage, and time feels tight,
The spirit’s resilience shall never fail.”
Locked in a prison of doubt and despair,
I remember hope’s key lies within.
Tears may fall, but Jesus also weeps with care.
God gives me strength against fear’s din.
I am not alone in this tumultuous sea,
Others may not grasp the fears I face.
But within me, lies the power to be free,
To navigate this darkness with grace.
“Fear not, be brave. Jesus is the key.”
God unlocks the chains that bind me tight.
The spirit sets me free. The Trinity guides me.
as I emerge from darkness into boundless light.
