The Great Ballerina Hurly!

Oh, to tell the tale of the great ballerina Hurly,
a man, strong and bold and often swirly,
with shoulders broad and chest hair burly,
he pirouettes through the morning, far too early.

His presence, to those unthinking, knurly,
prancing without fear, dancing demurely.
Watch him spin in melodious rhythm, surely,
you would not dare call this dancing giant girly!

A gentle grace in leaps and on tippy toe, a twirly,
A touch of pearl on leotards but not too pearly.
A name echoes in his fondness, softly… “Shirley”,
his partner in the dance and he loves her purely.
