It’s Finally In The Headlines

Rallies echo at the border,
the government is raising alarms
on the border of dreams.
They sneak in through the windows.
Amidst the surge, an alarming wave takes flight.
Debates stir, as apprehensions form.
Why not the front door?
Borders are crossed.
They come in through the back door.
Single adults seeking refuge in the cover of night.

Cartels smuggling migrants a risk-laden chance.
As within the chaos, darker tales arise.
Arrests for child molestation by illegals.
It is a heinous crime.
Hidden headlines reveal a truth that politicians hide.
Terrorists-young men, yet the news only shows women.
A Kansas City shooter the news hides the fact-
an illegal soon forgotten in time.

Homeland Security admits its tracking falters.
As the unknown infiltrates,
through the cracks in the wall.
Cracks made by our Government.
Deportation calls in the air,
but the Government refuses.
Funds meant for our elderly,
programs for our children,
channeling resources, political lies.
Americans plea for order,
yet our administration ignores collective despair.

ICE is on the move, finally…
Arrests reveal a sinister reality.
Gangs of migrants-drug Cartels,
with elections soon.
Economic tremors. Voting fears.
A crisis unfolds.
Six thousand dollars owed by each illegal
are debts to pay.
Children lost in the system.
Likely sold. They knew.
Was this their plan as the fabric of stability
in America erodes?

Dangerous drugs,
from the southern border flood America.
Fentanyl is smuggled in the twilight shade
and broad daylight.
While Veterans’ resources are used
on illegals and are diverted away.
American Homelessness surges,
and poverty is on the rise.
Free healthcare, food, and shelter
are given to illegals. We go hungry.
Our money is used to fund criminals,
while Americans pay.

The leaders laugh at America’s unspoken cries.
Abandoned by the administration, our nation grapples.
Airports, libraries, and schools have shuttered doors.
The current administration makes room for illegals.
America’s fate is at risk, and they caused it
by bringing in criminals from distant shores.
