The Saved
We, the fallen, earthbound race,
Trapped in this temporal space,
Passing through, from dust to dust,
Toward a timeless realm, we trust.
He formed us, crafted in His sight,
Through sin, imperfect beings, far from light.
To ignore the Creator, the source of all,
is to stumble, to fall, to heed the wrong call.
But He, in mercy, in love so deep,
Spoke, and we came to be, awoke from sleep.
He walked among us, God made flesh,
Atoned for sin, paid our debt, and we are blessed
The Lamb who died, yet lives again,
To set the sinner free, to break the chain.
His Spirit breathes where death once reigned,
Regenerates, renews, the heart sustained.
No excuses left, no place to hide,
Yet deliverance comes from the Crucified.
Jesus saves, the truth, the way—
Life will fade, but His light shall stay.
