Prayer Endures

When pain darkens our days,
and trials dim our hopeful ways,
prayer changes all.
When we surrender control
we let His purpose heal our souls.

Troubles, on our strength, they wear.
We question if our hearts can bear.
They test our souls,
in hours of darkened sight,
Yet prayer leads us back to light.

Jesus knows our every trial,
He carries us mile by mile.
God wills to transform
our weary eyes
when fears begin to rise.

The Father’s will, through which we grow,
guides us through the storms we know
through earnest prayer.
So let our prayers rise, sincere and strong,
In every struggle, sing a prayerful song
to see His will, to find our place.
