The colder the table, the more you lie,
Exposed beneath the doctor’s eye.
99% of lawyers are to blame,
For life’s absurdities, they share the shame.
The chill creeps up, a silent dread,
Demanding more of you instead.
Maybe there’s one, so pure and kind,
A rare soul in the mess we find.
If Barbie’s loved, oh so grand,
Why must you buy her friends on hand?
Her popularity, sold in packs,
Life twists the rules and reality cracks.
The butter’s hard, the bread is soft,
A balance is lost, yet strangers scoff.
For when you need a perfect spread,
Life mocks us all and laughs instead.
Through twists and turns, rules bend askew,
The little things confound, it’s true.
Life’s contradictions are everywhere,
A playful game, but none too fair.
