Wild Roses

The Roses reign with sovereign grace
In the heart of these earthly troves
God’s beauty does abide.
Where nature’s bounty finds its place
God’s beauty thrives in garden groves.
In earthly gardens wide.

Crimson blooms are an offering bright
In sunken havens, softly kissed
A peaceful warmth they show.
By morning’s tender, golden light—
A garden born of purest bliss
In Eden’s havens glow.

A splash of red, of white, of gold
each petal pristine on the vine,
with grace in each design.
God’s garden, never touched by cold—
No thorns among the stems entwine.
Each petal—bright and fine.

God, the gardener ever wise,
Gathers floral hips where they’re tossed,
And He, beyond attends—
to all the blooms under his eyes.
Wild roses brave the winter’s frost—
yet His care never ends.

In joy and sorrow, these are found,
God tends with love both tried and true,
Each bloom by love is made,
and sanctity of blooms abound,
He nurtures all, with love anew
through light and through the shade.

Roadside roses are wild and free.
the wild roses grow wilder vines.
Roadside roses, still fair—
yet prickly thorns always entwine.
They fight with God so recklessly,
yet without, losing flair.

The wild gardens of earth, are vast,
in these wilds, lacking God’s light,
many grow without care,
As weeds, into the fire are cast,
Yet God can bring them back to right—
The Garden they will share.

From—roadside back to God’s embrace
As God’s roses they’ll bloom once more—
Find there a point to shine—
Wild roses—sanctified through grace
through God, they’re fully restored,
by love that is divine.
