God Bless Those Who Pray

Beloved friends, dear family near,
I rest in peace beyond all sight,
I’m almost home and feel no fear.
Held in God’s love, in holy light.

Your prayers, a balm in my distress,
Has filled my heart, though none can see
A touch of grace that I confess
in depths of this serenity.

No need to mourn, to grieve, or cry—
I trust His will, I rest in grace,
In God’s own plan, I live and lie.
And know that He prepares my place.

In kindness shown, your love is clear;
In this place, Heaven’s field of care.
Through every battle, you are near.
I see fierce struggles, pain laid bare—

So many souls with hope held tight,
Yet in this space, I feel God’s hand
the lost fight hard through—endless night.
Yet voices calm, in love command

A strength and wisdom in each face,
And in their care, I too can be,
as they move with an angel’s grace,
As—witness to God’s peace I see.

I find in moments small and bright
there is a soul, much like my own,
I find a way to share God’s light.
God shares her pain, now less alone.

And though I rest, your prayers are sweet,
I pray for chances yet to come.
Like treasures laid before His feet
To serve His will till work is done.

God bless you all, as He does me—
In love and faith, eternally.
