Of Innocence and Experience
A lullaby whispers through the quiet night,
Exploring the balance of innocence and insight.
A child feels lost in despair and strife,
While another finds strength in the promise of life.
A Cradle Song plays soft at night,
Through Innocence and Experience bright.
I hear hope’s song in the dawn’s gentle glow,
But the march of time feels achingly slow.
A Little Boy Lost, in suffering despair,
While A Little Girl Lost finds solace in prayer.
I heard an angel sing at dawn’s first glow,
Of Eternity’s promise, yet time turned too slow.
Beneath the stars where life’s hopes reach high,
The world mourns its losses, its collective sigh.
In hymns of hope, redemption breathes,
Innocence intertwines in sorrow’s wreaths.
Yet soft, a voice proclaims the way,
A laughing Song heralds a brighter day.
Infant joy and faith also intertwine,
Hope persists through the bitterest line.
Infant Joy and Sorrow sing their refrain,
Of fleeting moments and hope through the pain.
Through innocence, experience, loss, and gain,
A world transformed in love’s refrain.
