Tick, tap, the quill does dance,
Scratch, scrape, through thought’s expanse.
Thomas Prat, with frown and sneer,
Deems “barbarous” what we hold dear.
Buzz, hum, the bees disagree,
Crash, clash, waves defy the decree.
Boom, the thunder cracks the sky,
Hiss, the wind whispers: “Why deny?”
Clink, clank, the forge of sound,
Plop, drop, life’s echoes abound.
Snap, snarl—Prat’s sharp disdain,
Rustle, rattle—words remain.
Though he scoffs at nature’s play,
Bang! Onomatopoeia stays.
