Writing is an Act

Writing is an act of kindness,
A quiet gift wrapped in words,
Given not for thanks, but for the warmth
It might offer, unseen, to another heart.
Writing is an act of hope,
A whisper that the world might bend
Toward something better, something brighter,
A vision born from thought and pen.
Writing is an act of thinking,
Writing is an act of rewriting,
A dance of mind and muscle,
A struggle, a grace, a fight,
Until at last, it takes its shape,
And we see the world in light.
Writing is an act of faith,
A belief that what’s written
Will matter, even if just for a moment,
And perhaps, leave a mark that endures.
Writing is an act of courage,
A leap into the unknown,
Where every word is a risk,
Every sentence, a journey.
