The sea sings songs in secrets deep,
Her waves caress the moonlit shore.
In silent night, the stars will weep,
For life is lost, and time no more.
The winds have carried tales of yore,
Of our homeland where we were free.
Now here, we stand, forever poor,
Bound by the silent, endless sea.
The tides that rise, the tides that fall,
They speak of love that waits in vain.
And yet the heart will heed the call,
Though filled with sorrow, grief, and pain.
O, silent sea, you know my soul,
You know my heart, so full of fear.
Yet still, you whisper, “Make it whole,”
And in your voice, I feel him near.
And the sea will keep her secret song,
In endless waves, where you belong.
