Zeal and Knowledge

To run with zeal but lack the light,
Is chasing shadows through the night.
A reckless path, a stormy sea,
Without God’s truth, how lost we’d be.
Yet knowledge stored, but left untamed,
A treasure hoarded, untaught, unnamed—
This greater tragedy takes its toll,
A frozen heart, an idle soul.
For we are loved beyond compare,
A boundless grace, a love so rare.
No fear of judgment clouds our skies,
For in His truth, salvation lies.
Empowered by the Spirit’s fire,
Let love and truth our hearts inspire.
To grow, to serve, to seek the way,
With zeal and wisdom, day by day.
So let us strive in truth and love,
Led by the Savior from above.
With hearts ablaze, our lives we raise—
For Jesus saves! To Him, all praise!
