A Nation’s Strength
From atom from atom, we rise or decay,
In the hands of Fate, our hearts go astray.
Yet Eros and Bacchus dance in delight,
While demonic love shrouds day into night.
Each and all, through cultural daze,
Sing the dirge of youth in fleeting haze.
A lover’s petition is brought low,
Bows to Brahma’s ceaseless flow.
In heroism, some stand tall,
While others hear Maitreya’s call.
The glory of Christians, sweet yet fleet,
Drifts like a fable, incomplete.
Blight may darken golden fields,
Yet forbearance, salvation still yields.
For in God’s love, faith and thought,
Freedom thrives where grace is sought.
With letters, bold, we shape the past,
And carve the future—make it last.
For though life is great, it too must wane,
A tale of loss and gain remains.
O heavenly love, our shining hymn,
A chorus bright when hope grows dim.
In the Truth of Jesus, we shall rise anew,
With strength, with faith—forever true.
