Victory’s Song
When struggles commence—voices rise,
When trials mock with cruel disguise,
When all the world seems set to chide,
Take your stand—God’s on your side.
The storm may howl, the waves may crash,
The winds may tear, the lightning flash,
Yet love unseen upholds your soul,
God is working—He’s in control.
No scheme of man, no weight of pain,
No fear or loss can e’er restrain
The sovereign hand, the perfect way
That leads you through another day.
Will you stay bound in sorrow’s chain?
Or rise and sing despite the pain?
The choice is yours—fear or belief—
Will you live in joy or grief?
So lift your hands, let praises soar,
Sing louder now than e’er before!
For victory’s won, the grave undone—
God is for you—the battle’s won!
