The Fallen Angels

The Fallen Angels

Amidst the stars, angels roam,
Yet, why did the fallen call earth home?
A question lost in the ancient mist,
Their legacy written in starlight’s twist.

Their stature grand, their power fierce,
With eyes that could a soul’s heart pierce.
Yet in their hearts, a turmoil grew,
A blend of light and darkness, too.

Women most fair caught their defiant eye,
A Doomed Lightbearer reached to defy.
Forsaken Herald, in anger entwined,
Chose mortal love against the divine.

From them, the Nephilim, some say myth and lore,
Born as half breeds, Echoes of a time before.
The Nephilim rose, giants of might,
Half-divine, half-mortal, destined to fight.
