Gnorts, Mr. Alien: A Palindromic Space Oddity

Gnorts, Mr. Alien: A Palindromic Space Oddity

Neil took a step, the world stood still,
But what if he tripped and rolled downhill?
Backward he would land, where odd things are,
everything flipped round— like Rats Star!
(Star rats are rebellious space rodents)

“Gnorts, Mr. Alien!” Rats on no star shout!
“We’ve waited for you—there’s no more doubt!
No star, rats on! The time is near,
For UFO tofu feasts, my dear!”
(Aliens with plant-based diets)

You’ve walked on moons, now walk on slime,
In zero-gravity, dance in time!
Their leader, Blorolb, with wiggly hands,
Declared him ruler of their lands.
(Dramatic sci-fi plot twist)

He tried to speak, but they just beamed at the survivor,
“Strong Gnorts, dear friend, you’re a Star Rats reviver!”
“A Mars rama leaves tonight!
Otto Orbit, prep the flight!”
(A nod to Martians who provided the ship “Otto”)

Neil gasped and blinked, “Wait, what is this?”
A mirrored world—could something be amiss?
From space, the truth was clear to see…
His ship spelled “Apollo”—or “ollo Pa” to thee!
(We named our ship weirdly too)

“Star rats, deploy! The plan is sound!”
And off they soared—then spun around.
Reviver Rover beeped with glee,
While NASA San watched nervously.
(A man at Nasa named San)

And so, in space, where weirdness hums,
Alien, Neil, a man, ruled backward tongues.
One small step, one giant twist—
Back at home—what did we miss?!
(Just Gnorts, Mr. Alien)

Neil Armstrong no more, they turned off the radar,
for rebellious Alien Rats live on no evil star,
Still at home, Neil, alien? No one believes.
Now Solos they sit. They should have sent Eve.
