If I were a Vampiress

If I were a Vampiress

I vaunt to brag,
I vaunt to boast,
I vaunt because
I’m loved the most!

I vaunt so high,
I vaunt so loud!
I vaunt to stand—
above the crowd.

I vaunt to dream,
I vaunt to shine!
I vaunt because
‘twas always mine!

I vaunt to rise,
I vaunt to fly!
I vaunt to touch
the endless sky!

I Vaunt to race,
I vaunt to run,
I vaunt to win.
the prize for fun!

I vaunt to shout,
I vaunt to cheer!
I vaunt because
my time is here!

No vaunt too high,
No vaunt too steep,
With prideful steps,
I Vaunt my leap!

I vaunt to boast,
They vaunt my name,
I Vaunt it all,
They vaunt my fame!
