Fuel for the Flame
The fire still burns, the wind still blows,
The Spirit moves where no one knows.
God’s Word ignites, His truth refines,
A beacon bright that ever shines.
But hearts grow cold, and lips deceive,
Some preach yet struggle to believe.
A mask of right, a veil of pride,
With judgment poised and love denied.
Yet salt must heal, not only sting,
And light must warm as well as bring
The truth that cuts, yet lifts anew,
A mirror first—then outward view.
For change must start within the soul,
Before we dare to make men whole.
To see the speck, first clear the sight,
Remove the beam and walk in light.
Love speaks with grace, yet does not bend,
It leads the lost, but knows its end.
For they will know whose name we bear,
By how we live, by how we care.
So fan the flame, let mercy grow,
Let truth be felt in love we show.
And when we speak, let Christ be seen—
Not hollow words, but hearts made clean.
